Continental AG, unveiled the flexible AMOLED display for the automotive market

Driving the Nation, the professional media providing automobile related information, posted an interview video with regard to the OLED technology integration conducted with Alexander Klotz from Continental AG Interior Electronics solutions at CES 2015 where Continental AG revealed that the AMOLED display technology was applied to panels for automobiles.
According to Driving the Nation, Klotz explained the difference with LED but did not disclose some products that Continental is working on.

 In this way, the concept cars equipped with OLED are increasing in the recent automotive industry. Especially Audi employed the OLED light source for a rear lamp together with the flexible OLED display and rigid OLED display. In addition, Jaguar announced the use of transparent OLED display for the concept car C-X16 series. It is expected that the car interior display and light focused on transparency and flexibility will develop as a new application in the OLED market.
